ABOUT ME

Judith Hobson is a passionate author and advocate whose writing journey began with a deep desire to help people through their darkest times. For the last 3 years, she has been talking about suicide and healing people with the same problem, using her platform to bring hope and understanding to those who need it most.

Her work, including “You Are Not The Only One,” reflects her commitment to addressing the most challenging aspects of human experience. Through authentic storytelling, Judith creates meaningful connections with readers who have faced abuse, trauma, and life's greatest struggles.

Judith's son committed suicide. After much research, she learned they had seen the signs but never understood what was happening. Judith now does presentations titled “the TALK SAVES”. Her goal is to inform people of the signs in the hope of saving lives.

Judith has had a number of opportunities to do things she never expected. The last is writing books. Her brother had once asked her to write his story and she said no. After years of research, his story will be released next year. When she started researching, her goal was to get a hearing for him. Now her goal is to get a judge, prosecutor and detectives arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced to prison for all the illegal activity used to get an innocent man condemned to life without the possibility of parole. And he is just one of many.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Sixteen million people are abused every year. For Jean, the abuse started at a very young age. The man she married was very abusive. When he died, she was set free. The road to recovery is long and hard. Jean was counseled every week for over four years. She still goes to counseling periodically and probably always will. As she put in the work, she found the road began to level with far fewer bumps. Jean lives one day at a time. Her goal for each day is to keep it simple.

ABOUT THE BOOK

In her senior years, she decided to move from downtown to the country. It would be much quieter. Right away she started seeing wildlife in her yard. She loved it. Then came the stray cats. She made new friends quickly. One thing she had never thought about living in the country is all the different kinds of bugs. Outside she didn't mind, but in her house was a different story.
