Judith Hobson

I spent part of my life being abused.

That made it easy to write Jean's story because

I understand her.

It was very difficult to write Jean's story because

of all the emotions it brought up.

Mental illness is not something you will get

over. Abuse can leave you with permanent

PTSD which is a combination of many

different things.

Counseling is not a cure, but it will make

life much easier.

I come from a military family - father, myself,

brother, sister, husband and both our children.

My life has taken me in many different

directions. The one I like the most is being a

mother and grandmother.

No matter which road I have gone down,

there has always been something to learn.

I won't say writing books will be my last

road, but certainly one of the most challenging.
